About the "Chiefs"
The Traverse City Women's Hockey travel team is a highly competitive group of women who quite honestly, really want to win. We hold tryouts in early fall, and welcome new talent. Our dedicated and talented coaching staff includes Dennis Beinkowski and former Hockey B and Collegiate player Kevin Beaudoin, assisted by AJ Beinkowski, also a very talented player. During the season, games and practices are held at the Kaliseum in Kalkaska .Teammates also skate on the In-House Leagues at Centre Ice on Wednesday and Thursday nights. Our current roster includes women of all ages, some with college playing experience. We welcome new skaters, and have a summer drop-in schedule throughout the summer months at Centre Ice on Wednesday evenings open to any new skater with a $10 fee per skate, payable to Centre Ice. Our season starts in September and goes through the first part of March each year. Hockey offers not only an intense cardio- vascular workout, but also a team atmosphere, where you will get positive support and encouragement each week. Something we all need!
